Christine Gerena

Christine is originally from the Bronx, New York and began her training in dance at the age of seven with Latin Ballroom. She was later accepted to the high school program at Professional Performing Arts School in NYC where she received all of her formal training at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Christine has had the wonderful opportunity to travel internationally to countries such as Japan, England, Spain and Italy with various Latin performing companies. Christine is currently a senior at the University of the Arts and will receive a BFA in Modern Dance Education in May of 2009. She is extremely excited for her first Philly Fringe Festival experience.
