A World Premier Workshop
Produced by Aspire Arts
Created and Facilitated by Nathan Emmons
Sunday July 12th, 2009
11:00am-3:00pm
The Arts Bank - 601 South Broad Street
Course Cost: Sponsored by Aspire- only $12 per student!
Come actors, come writers, come musicians, come movers, come all! We're looking for people who want to delve
into movement for the stage, imagination for the story, and music for the soundtrack. In this workshop you
will look to integrate elements of music, movement and theatre by looking very closely at how the body moves
in space to tell a story, and setting these movements to music. Incorporating techniques from world-renowned
mime Jewel Walker, we will explore what the body can express on stage through movement, aiming as an ensemble
to create a short, simple piece which we'll set to music and sound effects of your choice. With guest
instructor Nathan Emmons.
Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Register below through paypal.
