Born in Boston Massachusetts, and growing up in the Berkshires,
Jenn became involved in theater at a young age and worked
professionally prior to graduating from high school. Jenn
moved to Philadelphia to attend The University of the Arts
where she earned a B.F.A degree in acting and graduated with
the highest honors. She was the recipient of the prestigious
Gary J. Wheeler Acting Scholarship as well as the University's
President's Award and Academic Achievement Award.
Since graduation, Jenn has worked in higher education
administration at The University of the Arts in residential
life, development, alumni relations, and most recently in
financial aid. Jenn was a member of the University's Strategic
Planning Committee and the University Staff Council. She has
taught alongside teachers in both the University's Writing for
Film and Television and Acting departments, and has taught audition
techniques and beginning improvisation for for the last three years
for the UArts Pre-College Program. Jenn spent five years as a
shelter advocate and activities coordinator for The Elizabeth
Freemen Center, a shelter for women and children who are victims
of domestic violence, and taught ESL at The Nationalities Services
Center, here in Philadelphia.
She is a member of Philadelphia's premier long form improv
company, Tongue & Groove and is a freelance director. Recent Directorial
Credits include, Naked Will and The Importance of Being Earnest at the
Walnut St. Theater with the PGLTF, and assistant directorial credits
include, The Man From Nebraska at The People's Light and Theater Company
under the direction of Ken Marini.
