Creative Arts Therapies

ASPIRE Creative Arts Program offers group sessions in both music therapy and drama therapy for all students who are interested in these services. The sessions are conducted during regular hours and are incorporated into the student’s class schedule.

Music Therapy

Music therapy sessions give students an opportunity to practice self-expression and social skills through music. Sessions led by a certified music therapist include singing, playing instruments, writing songs, improvising, and group discussions.

Drama Therapy

Drama therapy uses verbal and non-verbal forms of expression to promote healing and personal growth. Our drama therapist (RDT) and intern use both enactment and symbolic expressions to assist students in developing social-emotional skills and exploring new roles.
